Have you discovered the magic of this “My First Little House Books” series? The storylines of these picture books correspond to specific incidents within the first three Little House chapter books: Little House in the Big Woods, Little House on the Prairie, and Farmer Boy). Plus, the illustrations are just amazing.
While we didn’t discover this series until we started reading the longer books, I would definitely recommend introducing these books to your 3- or 4-year-olds as a way to get them ready for the first few Little House books. They will already be familiar with some of the events and the primary characters!
