As we embark upon Black History Month, I have compiled a list of children’s books that commemorate black history, have black protagonists, or celebrate the achievements of a black person in history. Each listing in the PDF includes the book cover, a short description, a historical categorization, and an Amazon link.
However, we also must remember that black history is worth celebrating all year long, not just in February! I hope this book list celebrating black history and achievement is equally as helpful whether it’s February, June, or November.
